Smite Battleground of the Gods is an online multiplayer game with some interesting features. It is a great free game with loads of content. The graphics are a classical style with smooth animations for each character, which give individuality to the vast cast of characters.

There are 5 character classes to choose from. Each class has unique move styles and attributes that definitely give variety to each character within the class. The characters themselves are the main attraction, with 108 playable Gods, and you get 10 free charcters from the jump. The characters themselves come from 14 different Pantheons which are; Arthurian, Celtic, Chinese, Egyptian, Greek, Hindu, Japanese, Mayan, Norse, Polynesian, Roman, Slavic, Voodoo, and Yoruba.

It's a medium grind to buy the rest of the cast through in-game currency, but the grind is worth it. Mechanics are a great fit for this style of gaming, however it is lacking in variety of different game modes. Wait times between each match can get frustrating at times. Give this game a chance and you will be slaying enemies with a smile!
